| The Calgary Flames are looking for LICENSED Security Guards to patrol and control access to the Scotiabank Saddledome.
As a Security Guard you will control access into the building or event area(s) while maintaining Building, Event and Security policies. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
-To patrol assigned area(s) to guard against theft, vandalism, fire and violence.
-To provide a safe, healthy and friendly environment for guests and staff in assigned area(s).
-To answer the guest’s direction questions in a helpful, courteous and friendly manner.
-Report (verbally and/or written) any incidents or irregularities to supervisor/manager.
-To be knowledgeable of building fire and disaster evacuation procedures.
-Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous security and customer service experience. As a Security Guard you will be physically and mentally fit as well you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to review all aspects of security requirements and provide viable critiques to the Security Supervisor and Security/Loss Prevention Manager is considered an asset. In addition you will be flexible in solving situations/problems that may arise. First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
This part-time position will primarily require evening and weekend shifts but allows for flexibility between employees.
